We are doing lots of project based learning at Southmoor this year! Here are the projects we have done so far:
Communities project (September)- students planned and built a model of a community. They chose if it was urban, suburban, or rural and they chose the materials to use.
Sound project (October-November)- students learned all about sound and how to create and analyze different sounds. Each student chose a project to do based around sound. Some students made posters, some made a skit, some made slideshows, and all students presented!
Here is what is going on now:
Weather project: Students will be learning all about weather and will create a project to answer the question, "How does weather impact humans, plants, or animals?"
Check back here for more information about this and other projects!
